Summary Description:

This will be an introductory-level course for end users of the standard Domino.Doc 3.0 tools and user interface. This class covers several ways of creating, storing and retrieving documents, document life cycles, levels of access, and searching for documents as well as collaborating in Domino.Doc. The course will require customization if clients request training on site-specific lifecycle and cabinet, binder, and document type strategies.

Audience:

Corporate employees who are new to using the Domino.Doc library system. Some will be early adapters or managers and project leaders who need shorter learning curve and specialized questions. Early adapters may be responsible for training others at their sites and may need to possess Domino.Doc roles that allow them to be "super" end users, having the ability to create file cabinets and binders. Domino.Doc System Administrators or Application Developers may take this course prior to enrolling in the Domino.Doc Applications and System Administration class, although doing so is not a requirement.

Audience

It is assumed that all end users have previous PC experience including use of at least one (ODMA-enabled) desktop application (such as MS Word or Lotus WordPro).

End users working on Notes clients are required to have previous experience creating and saving Notes documents; end users working from a Web browser are required to have previous browser experience.
