ND640 Building JavaServer Pages that Access IBM Lotus Domino Databases

For Domino developers who want to extend their skills into developing J2EE applications by learning how to build JSPs. IBM Software Services for Lotus Education is pleased to announce the availability of Building JavaServer Pages that Access IBM Lotus Domino Databases (ND640). This course is targeted for Domino 6 and 6.5 developers with LotusScript or Java programming experience who want to access Domino databases from JavaServer Pages.

What does the course cover? Building JavaServer Pages that Access IBM Lotus Domino Databases (ND640) is a one day instructor-led course that begins with an introduction to the Java 2 Platform, Enterprise Edition and how Domino fits into that environment. The course provides an overview of IBM WebSphere Studio Application Developer and how to use it to create JavaServer Pages. In addition, it discusses JSP tags and how to use simple Java code and JavaBeans for more dynamic content. After covering the basics of J2EE and JSPs, students use the IBM Lotus Domino Toolkit for WebSphere Studio to add tags that display Domino design and data elements on a JSP.
