Summary Description:

Instant Messaging and e-Meetings with IBM Lotus Sametime 3 is a facilitated online event. Instructor and learners use the Sametime Meeting center as the virtual classroom for viewing presentations and conducting hands-on activities. This environment provides an opportunity to use Sametime features to experience real time communication and collaboration. Users will learn to monitor the availability of other users, as well as their own presence to others, and about the meeting center, including the presentation tools. Topics will show how to conduct and participate in instant conversations and virtual meetings.
This class may be delivered to students in one of two forms: in a traditional classroom setting, or in a completely online environment where students attend remotely, in conjuction with telephone conference for the audio component of the class.
